OPHS offers support to community members, we distribute informational material on services available to the residents, and serve as liaisons between the residents and the agencies providing the social services. Any community members can request speakers for panel discussion related to medical, dental and mental health topics.
OHPS help clients schedule appointments with program providers, and we may assist program employees in conducting follow-up services for clients. We may also gather community data and assess program effectiveness and the need for increased or additional services and community resources.
With a partnership with The Department of Health and Human Services we provide navigation and enrollment into the MIbridges (Medicaid) program. In addition, we also have Certified Application Counselors to help those who do not qualify for Medicaid into Marketplace.
